I could use more support as I am new to my father's illness, he has parkinsons and also was diagnosed with having aneursym in his stomach. He is experiencing difficulty eating and swallowing foods, I've seen a nutritionist to help me come up with ideas to what to feed my father but, I'm having a difficult time with coping with him not eating. He is basically only on a liquid diet now.. as he has no desire to eat anything that I prepare him. He's gotten weaker and it's frustrating for me to see my father so frail and weak. His aneurysm is only 4cm. The his doctor also told us that this something that can not be taken lightly but told us not to worry about it. (Who doesn't worry about an illness..??) He also told us at this time, he since his aneurysm is only 4cm, he can not be operated on, but also we were informed that he was in no condition to withold a seven to eight hour operation because of his health and other illness. If there is anyone who can help me and lead me into the right direction on what to do. He doesn't want to go into a home and neither does any of my family members. Please if someone could give me guidance it would be great. I'm very scare to lose my father to an illness. I've lost my mom to pancreatic cancer only three years ago.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
