His sister acquired early onset PD and she used to have a Mango Farm in Thailand and she used pesticides. This is probably how she got it.
When I was 35 yrs.old we moved to where we still reside. We have been on well water since that time. At 50 yrs. old I had PD. Connection? I don't know. The rest of the family is fine including my husband's father, who is 83 now and has been on well water the better part of his life.......................So there you go.
My thoughts are that some of us are lacking in certain enzymes, genes or whatever when we are born and that this sets us up so that under certain conditions we get PD.
Right now I am taking part in a study because I think it could possibly have a connection. Just like you, maroonkni, and the others who responded here, it may not be the insectisides or the fumes from welding, my uncle was a welder for over 40 years, is 87 now and doing great, but something that we are lacking in our bodies that other people have in their's. I feel this is a big possibility and if they can find out what these are and know the ones that could possibly become PD victims if exposed to certain things in our world................what a big step forward this would be. Just some food for thought. Would like to hear what some of your thoughts might be on this. Hope to hear from you, one or all.
have a great day,
