HI everyone! I just want to let you know about the young onset parkinson's network conf that will be held in Atlanta AUG 7-9, 2008!

I am very excited because....1/ it is in the south and i can get there in 5 hours by car, 2/ this is a GREAT conf! they have a good mix of issues for patients, caregivers, and medical docs/scientists there too, 3/it is usually held in same hotel where conf is at (less moving to/from other hotels), 4/it is very reasonably priced with cost usually including 3 meals, and last 5/it is a great, casual, informative place to meet old friends and network w/new ones
I went in 2005 when this was near D.C. and it is one of the best i have attended. Even if you are not YOPD I would encourage you to attend! Becci (flutterby here) has gone in 05 & 06 so if you want more info, she is a good one to speak to about this as well.
So, I hope you would think about enjoying some Southern hospitality next year in Atlanta.hugs 2 all,

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
