Hello. I need some help from you folks. My father has PD. He has been dx'ed about 7 years. For the last couple years he has been having what we call "episodes". He gets mean and beligerant or goes to the casino when he shouldn't be driving. His eyes will get dilated and he looks drunk. His movements are very exaggerated. We are very concerned for his safety at these times! More recently during these episodes he will pass out after awhile and it seems as if he is in a coma. We have called 911 a couple times. He spends a day or two in the hospital and they find him perfectly healthy! Last time we didn't call them. He is fine now after a couple days and seems not to even notice anything happened. I have talked to his PD Dr. And she wants him to see a psychiatrist. He will not. She also said this could be a complication of PD or of one of his meds. We are at our wits end. Does this happen to any of you. If so to what extent? Have you found anything to be helpful?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
