OMG, I love Friday, what about everybody else. Wine and the thought I don't have to go to work. We tried a new recipe tonight, Italian, bellissimo.

Things are nice here in Las Vegas. It's about 79 degrees. Almost too warm - but nice anyway. At least it's not up into the 110's+. Have a good weekend.

Well, it's now Saturday but I guess a day late is not too bad. Have been sick and although back to work, still have a nagging cough and now tonight a sore throat. This has been going on for two weeks now. I did go see Ariane today and it was a good visit but lately been having some depressing thoughts about how tired I am of jail and the stupid rules and how hard it's going to be for her and on and on...so haven't been on DS between that and being sick. I know I need to just suck it up and get a grip and carry on and I will but every once in awhile, I fall into the pity pot. Hope everyone has a good Sunday and don't forget to "Spring Forward"!! love, sharon

Sharon..dito to all the jail stuff and pity pot. I dread going to visit, he's so needy and looks at me like I got all the answers. It's very hard on me and I'm just not up to the challenge. He first got in trouble when he was ten, the second time at sixteen, and now he is twenty-nine, an adult, I am sick and tired of it, and then there's the possibility of even more horrible stuff. Pick myself up, dust myself off, start all over again.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
