My son is 7 and our Pediatrician really wants him to be in an organized sport to help him with his social skills and learn how to be a team player. We have tried baseball and soccer. In baseball he's a good hitter but the anxiety gets in the way and he thinks the coach's are mad at him when they're telling him to run the bases because he doesn't pay attention and when it's time to run he has no clue. In Soccer he got confused and kept kicking the ball in the wrong direction, by the time he caught on and realied what to do it was time to switch sides and he was even more confused. He just started his medication and I hope this will help his attention span and his focus but I was wondering if anyone else had any good tips. Any other advice?
