I have just upped my sons Concerta from 36 to 45 on my own and what a difference at home. he starts school in a week and I don't know if it is enough for school but we see the psych tommorrow. He had wanted to wait till after school started but I could not take the juming off the walls and disrespectful behaivior any more, so far so good. I am eager to hear what the doc says because the usual dose hike is to 54 mg but I wanted to go slow. my son is 11 and just starting middle school in a very rigorous science program. he is gifted and can handle the work in 6th grade if his meds are in tune, but 7th and 8th grade they use college books and take the tests to get college credit. this I am not sure about. If it doesn't work out he will go back into the gifted program and stay there.I am just concerned about the tics he had when upped to 36mg. that eventually went away as the med stopped working. on the 45 he is still eating and the tics are minimal.54 is a big jump and I am a little worried about it.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
