so my 10 year old step son was diagnosed with add, not adhd as they had thought this past friday. apaprently he is off the charts. they did the infred testing,s ome speciallist kind of thing. so its good to knw what he has, but challenging because i seriously, as do the rest of the parents, need to learn how to deal with this. they put him on new meds so hopefully we will have some progress.

I hear you. My stepson has ADHD and he has had meds but is not currently taking any. It is really hard when the kids go back and forth between mom's and dad's. The consistancy factor is compromised and that ALWAYS complicates any situation. Hang in there! Hugs to you!
