What a proud moment for me. I just got off the phone with my 4 year old's principal- he was suspended for a day because of his "aggressive acts" towards two other students- he chocked them. I don't know if he was just playing and being rough, or is he was actually acting out of anger which is not like him. He does a LOT of impulsive things (obviously) that are aggressive, but they are almost never out of anger. I don't know all the circumstances of what happened in the classroom, but I plan on talking to his teacher tomorrow. This just seals the deal tho, my husband and I have been thinking about talking to our therapist about medication for him. It scares me- and I am a teacher- and I see kids who are ADHD who cant control their impulses- and their parents refuse to medicate them. ugh- I have so many mixed feelings right now. Anyone else have any delightful experiences to share?
