My 7 year old son has ADHD and was diagnosed when he was 3. At the age of 4 he started taking medication up until last year. He was taking Rhisperdal and Clonidine. He started having some really weird twitching and movement in his right arm. I also noticed that he just didn't have much of his personality that I knew so well. After doing some research on the side effects of the meds, I was horrified!!! So I decided to wean him off the meds and try the herbal way. I am still working on finding the best vitamins and the best diet for him. But the school is trying to push me to put him back on medication. I really don't want to but he is not doing good in school at all. I get calls from his teacher weekly and I go to confrence meetings every other week. Some have the teachers have nice things to say about him but it is mostly negative. I feel backed into a corner because on one hand, I don't want him to suffer from side effects but on the other hand, I don't want to deprive him of an education. I ordered this book called "3 Steps to Conquering ADD/ADHD" and I find it very interesting. So if anyone has any advice I would love to hear it!!! I really don't know what to do at this point and time! I am stuck!!!! Please help!!! Thanks and I hope everyone is having a good night!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
