Well, since my sons doc started him on clonidine for sleep, he has been doing much better. At first, he was taking 3 hours to go to sleep after taking the med. His doc upped the dose and now he goes to sleep after an hour. I have adjusted my work schedule (which is not easy being a completely single parent) to allow him 10 hours of sleep a night. His behavior is about 90% better. He got his sticker for being good 4 out of 5 days last week. We're not used to getting 4 stickers in a month. His doc is talking about having a sleep study on him. I do believe most of his problem is going to be due to some sort of sleep disorder. Which could almost be a good thing i think. maybe easier to fix than ADHD. so that is the update for now. talk to you all later.
