okay so my step son is on Concerta (sp?). he has been taking it for about 6 months or so. we have in this course only increase teh dose amt one time. however, if he forgets to take his pill he refuses to take resposiblity for any of his actions. ie: pink slips in school, getting in trouble and aruging/fighting with friends. we have talked to a therapist about it, and they agree to encourage him that he is in control and he needs to undetstand that. i dont like that he uses his meds as a crutch...yours? how do you teach them that even with out a pill you can control yourself?
