Hi all... First, thanks for all the words of hope for all of us moms and dafs from everyone out there... Second, my son has been on Vyvance for about 3 weeks. 10mg week 1, 15mg week 2 and now one week at 20mg. He is focusing and working in class, finishing his work, getting through math, etc. but... when he gets frustrated by one thing he shuts down completely. "Can't do this" "dumbest kid on earth" etc. I am going to call his neuro md but she is out of town for the week. Anyone have history with vyvanse and increases in frustration and inability to control himself at that point? He is 6 and I am not sure if I need to go more meds, different meds? Any insight would be much appreciated before I go to see her so I have options and history of other parents to discuss with her. She is a fabulous doc and really sits down and talks.
