My 21 month old has this newly acquired habit of smacking herself in the head whenever she gets upset or is told "no" to something. She has a total fit, complete w/ screaming and crying, and then will smack herself. When I tell her calmly, dont do that, you will hurt yourself, she does it again while looking directly at me. She uses plenty of words and understands most other direction I give her. IS this normal behavior for her age, and is there anything I can do differently to stop this?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
