Hi everyone! This is my first post in this community, and I hope that those who have gone this road before me has some tips! I have an almost 17 month old son and he is doing very well with cups and straws, but I was wondering how best to get him trained on spoons? I have a training spoon that he can dip into food and try to feed himself, but he just likes to throw it (and the food with it, he's not a very good eater these days). Am I trying too early to get him to try spoons? What is everyone's advice?
