It isn't him. It's us. He is changing EVERY DAY what he wants to eat. He isn't to the self spoon feeding stage yet, but he refuses most of the time to let us spoon feed him ANYTHING. We have been encouraging him to feed himself at an early age, so taht isn't a problem. What he liked a day ago, he hates, and even fruits he used to love, he snubs his nose at them. I try to "sneak" fruits into his daily diet by making a fruit smoothie. He likes that. He has a crazy sweet tooth too. He doesn't eat his cereal anymore either. He will eat trix, so sometimes I just make sure they are out on his tray.
I will say, he likes corn, green beans, bread (not as much as he did), avocado, milk, (all kinds) of juice (we mix with water).
Ultimately, I am just afraid that he isn't getting enough of what he needs.
We are starting with some fit throwing too..He definitely knows the word "no."

I hear ya...my daughter is getting incredibly finicky with her eating. I think it's the age. She will do the same thing though with changing her mind...one day she LOVES macaroni and cheese, she wants it breakfast lunch dinner and snacks....the next day I offer her mac n' cheese and you would think I was trying to poison her for the fuss she puts up, lol. Oy. Toddlers require patience :) Thank God they are so cute! Ok, so your little guy is giving you some hassles with his eating...but look how adorable he is with food all over his face! lol

ok..this is icky but if he is still passing good stools then he's okay.....my oldest child is the same way and we just switch up every few days and try different stuff...can't wait until Thanksgiving...she's really going to get her taste buds sampled and then we will definitely have a great clue.....good luck!

I think part of problem with my 2 year old is that he can't tell me what he wants to eat (other than a few things). He gets board with stuff easily. But yeah incredibly frustrating. Esp when he loved cheese and now hasn't eaten it in over 6 months.

When my daughter gets this way, I sit with her and eat. It seems when she is sitting in my lap for some reason she eats really well. I am not sure if she thinks she is getting "my" food or what. I know this is not the answer for everyone, but she eats twice as much for me than when she is in her high chair....I know I know I will prolly pay for this later!!!!

I certainly know where you're coming from. My son's diet is a strict mac and cheese, hot dogs and bologna diet. Nothing else.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
