My 2 year old son has had rashes and excema since he was born, we have tried everything to make it better, steroid creams, soap-free fragrance free everything, changes in the diet, millions of diff lotions, I mean everything!! Most stuff has worked great for awhile but the rashes always seem to come back, he gets really bad spots on the bottom of his legs, the tops of his hands and the pitts of his forearm, these are typical areas that excema effects but I just wonder being he is almost 2 if this means this is going to permanently effect him like into adulthood, or will he grow out of it like most toddlers and babies do. Had there been anything else that has worked wonders for your child? It bothers him so much sometimes, he'll scratch til he bleeds. He's been to his dr tons of times and they always go back to the steroid cream. I just want him to be comfortable in his skin, I hate to see him itchy and I hate the rashes!!
