My 14 month old is going to be moving into his own room soon as my sister is moving out (to have a baby!) and leaves her room. I am so excited about turning this into a nursery, but I don't know where to start!! It's a small room, so his toys will be kept in the living room. I am thinking about decor etc and most of what I find in shops in beautiful, but bright. My son is a very active little boy and struggles to 'wind down' in the evenings so I was thinking a calm, neutral theme would be better? Also I don't really know what to put in it, especially because of lack of space. Obv his cot will go in there, I need to get him a wardrobe and some curtains, but what else!? I was thinking of a clock and some photo frames to put photos of him on the walls, but would a clock be too noisy? Maybe a little bookshelf too-- anyone else have any ideas on what should go in there? What are your babys nurserys like? Any tips?!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
