how often does your toddler eat?

my son is almost 15mths and i still give him cereal 1hr before bed, thus he eats 4times a day..when should i start weening him off and adjust him to eating 3 times a day with snacks between? his appt is not for another mth. thanks

I think that's fine. My daughter is going to be 2 this month and I always give her a snack about an hour before bedtime, maybe a cup of yogurt or else some cheese and crackers. Cereal is a great 'bedtime snack', it's good for him and I'm sure having a full tummy helps him sleep better! I think you're fine, I wouldn't change anything if I were you.

Actually a lot of studies show none of us should eat 3 meals a day. We should all be on 6 small meals a day. It helps us from over eating and keeps the blood sugar more constant. Toddlers esp with their high energy demands, small tummies and little interest to sit still need several small meals. I'm sure he's fine with cereal before bed. My 2 year old has a pretty good size snack before bed. But we eat dinner at about 6:30 and he doesn't go to bed until 9:30.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
