Have you tried educational toys? My son loves them, and I always but the ones that are made for older childern. He learnd his abc's from a computer I bought him last christmas. He know's all the letters by looking at them and can spell small words out loud. He is in preschool now and he knew more then any other kid there lol.

Imaginative play stuff works well for us, my son is just getting into pretending and using his imagination. Other than that, we do art (he sadly still calls play-doh 'icky'...BLASPHEMY!!! LOL!), sing songs, enrichment activities like that. xoxoxoxo

Books, puzzles, most of all CONVERSATION! It doesn't have to be brilliant or deep, just talk about pictures in a book or go for a walk and talk about all you see: what things are called and why, colors, uses of objects, who they belong to...the possibilities are endless. Ask your son LOTS of questions (open-ended ones are better than yes or no). Counting games, simple math (if and when he's ready) and building with various kinds of blocks. Drawing or coloring are good too.
