First off, I am very quick to worry. But I was just curious as to what other folks on here consider a high enough temperature to get real concerned over. My son, 3, has been acting pretty normal today, but he woke up this morning with a fever of 101.2. We have kept a check on it all day and have gave him tylenol a few times. His temp ranges from 99.8 to 101.8. I called the doctor and he said a lot of kids around our area are having a bug right now. He said as long as he was alert and not showing signs of breathing problems and the temp did not hit 103 or 104, to just give him tylenol and plenty of tender loving care. Should I be to concerned over 101.8? Thanks for any responses.
