I am the proud mother of 4 beautiful children... 3 girls... 10,7, and 5. My baby boy is 22 months and has been a pure bundle of joy since the day he has arrived.... always happy, sweet, smart, and just a pleasure! Obviously with him approaching 2 he is starting to get testy, exploring his world, wanting to pee on everything(lol) and starting to display some aggressive behavior towards his sisters, the pets, and me and dad... dad is not bio to any of then but has been here for 6 months anf we are engaged... he is a first time parent to 4 all at once! Lol anyway, so the question I have is is it possible for a 2 yr old to be malicious or mean or anything negative of that nature? My idea is that children are generally innocent and only display behavior of that nture bc of environment and parenting or such.... I.am more than.open.to correcrion in that idea. Also, how do you properly discipline said incidents... for example, dad was on the floor looking for babies cup, baby(Tuff is his name) walked up to.daddy, punched him in the eye, laughed and walked off. Daddy spaned him. I disagreed. Not bc iam against spanking, but bc I feel Tuff was not being "mean" mearly playful as daddy gets in the floor often and wrestles... the confusion comes from the violence the older girls display toward each other and Tuff.... whixh is a totally different topic and they are in counseling for their issues, but basically wondering at what age should a child be held responsible for aggressive or mean behavior??
