And after I got off the phone I was so upset from screaming and yelling. She walked over and she had a cookie in her hand and she handed it to me with the sweetiest face and said "Mommy I think you need this cookie and we should take a timeout together" I was no more good she really knows how to cheer me up when I'm down. I love the things kids say.
"No, Mommy doesn't wanna eat poop!"
I think he was expecting me to ask about washing his hands, but I really just don't know lol!
On Friday the 21st. his bird died, which he had for 2 years. He asked why she died and I explained that she was old and when animals and people get old they sometimes get sick and die. He wanted to know what we were going to do with her. I explained that we would burry her and then God would come get her and take her to his house so she could fly free and not be in a cage and would not hurt anymore.
On Saturday morning we took her by the lake and buried her and I helped him ask God to come get her. Our walk home was quiet until we got about half way, He stopped me and said Daddy, when you get old and get sick and die, I will ask God to take you to his house so your back wont hurt and you can breathe better. I suffer from chronic back pain and COPD.
