so my daughter is almost 2, she will not kep her diaper on she will go to any extreme to get it off. if she cant undo it then she pulls it off like its a pair of shorts. im going nuts chasing her around all day. she was a micro preemie and she hasnt really started talking yet, and she understands me fine but she is also going through the defiant stage were she pushes everything to the point of time out. does any one have any advice. does this mean shes ready to potty train? please help.

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. However, you might try putting it on backwards (you may have to go up a size or try taping it snuggly with masking tape). Also, if she just wants to be naked, you can allow her to be naked at home or have special "naked time" each day and let her run around until her heart desires. But tell her if she wants to go bye-bye or to the park (or something like that) that she must wear diapers or big girl pants.

If dd can't speak, have you tried signing with her. At least then she can communicate with you that she needs to go. Good luck.
