I am a 36 year old father of 2 boys ages 3 and 2. I was raised in church since birth, and enjoy being in church every chance I get. I love my Pastor very much. He is one of the greatest people I know. Here is the problem; my 3 year old loves sunday school. He listens to the stories and makes his little crafts, and just has a great time. Believe it or not, even at age 3, he is quite a good prayer to. My 2 year old is still very stubborn. I love him so much, but if he does not get his way, people 10 miles away will know it. Even during the actual preaching, they both can get loud and a little bit rowdy. Until recently, we had a nursery in which my wife would go with the boys. There was a speaker in there so she could here the sermon. Well the Pastor went in there and has now took all of the childrens toys and activities out of there. He also made an announcement that the nursery is a place of discapline, not a place to stay and play. He also said that he does not believe in any type of childrens church, because God's house was not a place to come and play. The church I was raised in back in my hometown, has a nursery for children ages birth -3 years old, and childrens church for ages 3-7. I was raised in childrens church as a child and I think I came out o.k. How do you expect a 2 and 3 year old to sit completely still plus understand the teaching of the Bible at this early of an age. Don't get me wrong, I also believe that children's church should not just be a playing hour, but read some Bible stories, color some Biblical pictures, things like that. What is the harm in it? I have talked to the Pastor about this, but he says he will not change his mind on it because it is the way God would have it.

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
