Lately I've noticed my 2.5 yr old daughter laying down with her blanket between her legs and kind of...how do I say this...?...humping it? Not in any vulgar fashion, just kind of enjoying the feeling, I guess. Well today I talked to her child care teacher and apparently she's been doing it there at nap time, too. UGH...Humiliating! But she told me it's VERY common and normal and not to make a big deal of it. Anybody else have this issue? Any idea of how to approach this subject with a 2.5 yr old and get her to understand it's not the kind of thing she should do w/ other people around? She's pretty smart, and I can just hear her saying "Ok, mama" when I tell her it's not nice to do that in front of people. But I know it's just a matter of it going in one ear and out the other! Any suggestions?
