My daughter is 29 months she is usually very good and listens to me well. Lately, she has really been testing me and I know that its normal. I'm just not sure if I'm handling situations correctly. For Ex - My daughter is spilling her drink on the floor I ask her to stop she completely ignores me - I take the drink off of her she throws a fit - I donot give it back and I tell her You are not getting your drink untill you listen to mommy and donot spill it! Is this working? I just don't know if I'm getting through to her? Another ex - I told her two times donot go in the garage she completely ignores me goes in anyway. So, I make her stand in the corner and tell her because, Mommy said your not allowed in the garage you went in anyway thats why your in the corner. Do you think this is working? These are just two examples but, it really has been going on a lot lately and I need to find and effective method of teaching her to listen. Any advice would really be appreciated! Thank you in advance!
