I'm looking for some advice. My 1.5 year old is driving me absolutely crazy. And to make it worse, my husband is about to deploy in a few days, and I'm afraid I'm going to lose my mind while hes gone. My little girl just does not want to play with her toys on her own. She just wants mommy to entertain her. Here it is, 3:00 in the afternoon, and her toys have gone untouched all day. If she does pick one up, she brings it to me screaming. If I take it, she immedietly wants it back. If I refuse it, she throws a fit. This will go on all day long if I let it. If we go to someones house with a baby her age, she screams when the other baby touches her or tries to play with her. Someone.... please help. No matter what we do, she screams and gets frusterated. How can I teach her to be more indapendent??

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
