Yesterday I had to take my kids in for a GI exam. My 12 year old son had no problem taking his shirt off and putting on the gown and having them expose his chest and bely. My 14 year old daughter was mortified. She was in this room with a tech and they just exposed her belly and breasts with no warning and they just told her to hold still. We have taught our kids that their bodies are sacred and no one she see them naked unless they are with a doctor and one of us is present or they are married and with their spouse. Moreover, I resent the fact that this tech was told by my daughter that she was frightened and wanted me there and completely ignored. They her and me that their policy was if you are over 10, NO PARENTS> I am furious. Has anyone else gone through this?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
