Had it with my "perfect" 19 year old daughter. Reigned her in again. Man, they do push the limits don't they? She's thinking she's an "adult" now and can come home whenever she wants! Her and I have been at wits end with each other. Somehow, I crossed over to being the enemy but I'm ok with that. We sat her down and told her our house, our rules. She's welcome to leave, pay rent, utilities, car, car insurance, college tuition & books & cell phone. Then, her life is all her's and we'll have no right to interfere. She recently booked a trip to Cancun with her girlfriend. Didn't even bother to ask us. Funny, I'm pretty sure we're in a "recession" and while her parents are struggling to make ends meet (paying all her shit), she books a nice cosey trip! That was it for us. Parents united and man, was she surprised! Let's see how long it lasts!!!!!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
