I have a 13 year old son. He goes to a public charter school where they have to wear uniforms and adhere to a pretty strict code of ethics. THerefore, I was mortified yesterday when the school called me and told me he was being kicked out of study hall. When my husband got there to get him they said he and one of his friends were sitting and very loudly talking about what they would like to do to their girlfriends. No one would elaborate any more to me. Apparently, its too embarassing for him to say it in front of his mother but not all the adults and kids in study hall. I am just so shocked. I didn't know he was even old enough to start having thoughts like this. What should I do? Should I have "the talk" with him and tell him about birth control and stuff. I guess I'm naive, but I have two older boys and have never had a problem like this with them.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
