I woke up for no explicable reason. As I usually do, I always check on my kids especially my 14 year old daughter because this is allergy season and she has a hard time breathing sometimes at night. I heard my 12 uear old son's tv on and I went in to turn it off. Plain as day, there was a copy of a bent up Playboy on his bed. I have had conversations with him about bringing that garbage into our house because it objectifies women. ( He is already using slang terms like rack and booty) We don't tolerate it here. Any ideas on a consequence for him? We have already had a beginning of "the talk". Should I move onto more advanced topics, he's only 12. I recall my dad talking to me when I was 14 not 12.
