Is there an after school club or tutoring program she can get involved with at school -- take the late bus home so there is less unsupervised time?
Is there a girl-friend she can go home with who has a parent present after school? Would 2 girls home alone be better than giving her the run of your home without supervision?
Can she get a volunteer job after school such as working in a day care center at the Y or other program? She would be "needed" and supervised at the same time. The incentive would be that she could make baby sitter contacts and when she's ready to work she would have real experience/references.
Good Luck!!
