MY 14 YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER HAS DONE A COMPLETE TURNAROUND THIS YEAR AND IS IN DANGER OF FAILING 8TH GRADE. SHES SMART BUT HANGS AROUND WITH THIS ONE GIRL AND THE COMBINATION OF THEM TOGETHER IS NOT GOOD. I FEEL LIKE A FAILURE AS A PARENT FOR LETTING THIS GO ON AS LONG AS IT HAS. SHE WAS ALSO FINED FOR SHOPLIFTING WITH ANOTHER FRIEND. I JUST FEEL LIKE THINGS ARE SPIRLING OUT OF CONTROL AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I KNOW AS A PARENT I HAVE TO PUT MY FOOT DOWN BUT IVE PRETTY MUCH HAD HER ON THE HONOR SYSTEM SINCE SHE NEVER USED TO BE A PROBLEM. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE TO SHARE I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE. CYNDI
