hi, all. im new to this particular group and need some suggestions. my almost 5yr old sleeps with the light on. not a night light, the actual lamp. ive tried nightlights, but they dont work. ive tried turning the lamp off when he falls asleep, but he will wake up and turn it back on again. and i cant switch it so you need to actually turn the lamp itself on (its on the wall switch now), cuz the only piece of furniture in his room to put the lamp on is really high and im short and cant reach it. it has the smallest watt flourescent bulb that will fit in it so im not too concerned about it sucking electricity, but i want him to be able to sleep normally. if anyone has had an issue like this, pls help. thanks so much!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
