My 4 1/2 year old is never happy!! I've just noticed this in the last month or two. He's miserable. He cries and whines constantly. He always wants something(and I mean ALWAYS). Even when I try to do what he wants he creates a problem. For example: yesterday I wanted to run to the store real quick after school. It took me 3 hours to get me him and the baby ready. He was whining, crying that he wanted to stay home, asking for snacks, making his brother cry everytime I turned my back (he's not mean, he just plays too wildly), taking his coat and shoes off. Well today I thought I'll just make sure we can stay home and have a nice night after school. Now he's crying that he wants to go somewhere!! This is a constant thing and he can't just let anything go. It is a huge fiasco over everything. Every little thing! It makes me upset and I wish to see him happy. But I can't give in to every little whim his busy mind thinks up! He's always been a pretty happy kid before this. Anyone go through this?
