My DD is 4 1/2. Perfectly healthy, normal little girl. 3 days ago, I noticed her pointer and index finger had white lines all the way through them. I asked her if she smashed her fingers. She looked at me like I was crazy. She doesn't remember anything happening to her fingers. Then if her finger nails didn't start to come off today! They have separated by the cuticle and around the edges. Half of the nail on one finger has fallen off. There is a very thin nail still there. It appears healthy and is a dark pink, but it still has a sliver of a little white line through it. This is just so weird! Could this be a fungus? I mean this all happened so fast, or do you think she hurt them? It is only these 2 fingers and the rest look completely normal! I kinda think it could be fungus, but then again would her nail just fall off like that with a fungus on both of them with the new nail appearing to be pretty much normal? This is so weird. She is very healthy and eats healthy and takes a daily multivitamin, so she isn't malnourished. She did have strep about a month ago.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
