I was wondering if at some point babies stop putting everything into their mouth? My son just started crawling (almost 7 months old) and he just grabs everything and puts into mouth. I am constantly watching over his hands and mouth. He has a paci, which he can't do without, but he knocks it out pretty quickly if he manages to grab some paper and then into mouth it goes. I would like to take him to parks and introduce him to grass and leaves and the sand on the beach, but I can just see all this going into his mouth. I'm very scared he'll put something there that can either choke him or infect him. I mean, the grass is probably treated with pesticides or peed on by dogs. What do other people do? Does this behavior lessen some time? Thanks!

So my daughter, who will be 30 in a few months, says she thinks she has varicose veins, as she can't figure out what else it could be. Only in one leg, and is so bad it is hard to sleep at night.
