My baby is 9 weeks old and it seems as though her startle reflex has gotten so bad! Before, almost nothing would wake her or startle her. Now, she will just be lying or sitting and will startle with seemingly no cause. It seems fairly exaggerated as well. She seems to have trouble napping now because of this. She will be asleep for the most part and continually startle herself awake. I swaddle her at night, I was trying to avoid it during the day, although I guess there's no reason not to swaddle her. She just had her 2 month checkup and was fine. Just curious if anyone else's baby does/has done this?
