Hi, my son is 5 months old now and I really haven't started him on anything other then the breastmilk. I'm not in any hurry to start the baby food or cereal, but I have noticed that he doesen't nurse as long as he used to. He used to nurse about 20 minutes at a time and now it's dwindled down to about 5-10 minutes at a time about every 4 hours or so. He doesen't seem like he's fussy or anything. But I'm wondering if this means he's getting ready for solids. I have given him, on a very occassional basis, a bit of baby food and he really enjoys it, but I really don't think it's neccessary. I would say it's more for learning to feed other things thing for any nutritional value. What do you all think? Thanks in advance for any input.
