My 6 mo. old is teething and unfortunatly not letting mommy sleep at night. He sometimes wakes up every two hours screaming and will not go back to sleep for and hour and a half. I have tried everything I can think of. I have given tylonol or advil for pain, put orajel to the gums, given him teething tablets, put cold teether on his gums. The only thing that seems to help is to hold him in my arms and gently rock him. But then I put him down and he starts screaming again. I try to get him back to sleep without picking him up, but it isn't working. I am so tierd and I have to work the next morning and take care of his brother and sister. Help! Any suggestions to help this tierd mom.
