so far i've been managing to get around with just a basinett or just carrying my little girl, she's 2 weeks and 3 days, but its getting rather tiring and is obviously only good if i have someone else there to grab things off shelves at the grocery store etc.
So i'm in the market for a pram, what are the best ones out there at the moment?
Its all about the pram apparently here in the mummy arena so i was wondering if anyone had recommendations?
Love and best to all the mummies!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I'm a big fan of Graco and all of their products. Currently, my almost eight-month old still uses her car seat (bucket seat) and the stroller shell that it goes on for transport. When she's in a less portable car seat, I'll move up to the big stroller.
Good luck and happy shopping!
Some parents like slings also...but I've tried every sling on the market, and I have found that they are not made for short people.
The best thing about the stroller I have now is that it folds up very easily and it's so compact...more like an umbrella stroller instead of flat and wide.
It depends on what your needs are. When I was shopping, I just went to the baby store and test drove all the floor models: See how they open and close, how much they weigh (you'll probably be lugging it in & out of your trunk), does it spin-on-a-dime and drive well. My inclination was to buy the cutest color and pattern but I'm glad I ended up with this one because its just a very easy stroller to use.
P.S. The basket space is not the greatest & while black is a great color, it's tough to keep clean. There are more color options for girls (baby blue, pink, mint). We got black & it always looks like it's covered in cracker crumbs....oh, maybe that's because it IS covered in cracker crumbs!!! :)
But like dancermom says you should go to a shop and try them all out. Thats what we did, we tried how easy they were to fold and stuff. Then we came home and found it a lot cheaper on the internet.
Good Luck, and happy pram hunting :)
