I have an 18 month old and most of the time he wont listen to me or his dad. If he is getting into something he is not supposed to we will say "No" but most of the time he will just do it any way. We try to pust him in time out( by time out I mean we hold him for 5-10 min before he can play again) but it dosen't work, once we put him down he will knock something over on purpose becasue we were holding him. This is challenging because How do you disicpline an 18 month old? I don't want to spank him or hit him. I just need some ideas on how to get him to listen.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
What works for us is to say no once, then the next time it's done, remove the object.
Hope that helps.
P.S. you may also just be experiencing the "terrible twos" early!!!! uuuhhhhhggg!
