Exploding Poop and Containment

My 5 month old daughter has these amazing poops at night. She goes to bed at 7P and when I go in and get her at 7:30A or so, she has literally pooped all over! I mean, diaper is destroyed, poop has shot up her back up to her shoulder blades (which baffles me becasue she is a tummy sleeper... how powerful must that poop be that it is shooting up her back?!). This is my 3rd baby but I have never in my life encountered such a force of nature.
I have her in a diaper a size bigger ... and tonight I double-bagged her (sie 4 diaper covered by a size 5 night time diaper! She looks like a sumo wrestler from the waist down). Any other recommendations?
I'll tell you, it's a helluva way to start the day... for me. She's as happy as can be.

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I agree with Lilliebird. Some rubber training pants might contain some of the fun. I imagine that if she is happy and growing that she just happens to be a really talented pooper. Shoulder blades and all?
what if you tried catching her before she 'explodes' ? maybe the diaper cannot hold any more because it is already saturated....?
try changing her a couple hours before she normally wakes up (that's what I would do! just to avoid the mess) you could keep it very calm and even keep the lights off so she can go right back to sleep...?
good luck =)
