Cole had mild cradle cap around 1 or 2 months old, but it cleared up easily. Now he's eleven-months, and it seems to be back, but worse (and weirder). I noticed it for the first time last week when we were at the park and the wind blew back and separated his hair. It looked like brown freckles. Upon closer examination I realized (ew) it was scaly. Um...I don't really know what to do, as the "spots" don't seem to want to come off. We used California Baby shampoo with Tea Tree Oil and it's supposed to loosen cradle cap, but I haven't noticed any difference. It's kinda...well, gross. I've heard to put olive oil on the scalp and comb through, then shampoo. Has anyone tried this, and did it work? Other thoughts?

I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
