So, my son is three months old now and breastfeeding doesn't seem to be getting much easier. I have such a hard time finding a position I'm comfortable in and when I do finally get comfortable, he's too uncomfortable and starts moving around and fussing and won't latch on. And because he wants to eat all the time, I finally give in to how he wants it and my back and neck are SO sore. I also think he's just gotten to the point that he's too busy to eat. He's hungry, but he gets frustrated when he can't eat and play at the same time. He wants to look around, so he ends up eating for a couple minutes, stopping to look around for a few minutes, and then eating som more. I don't think he's had a full meal in one sitting in several days. So, basically, we spend ALL DAY nursing because he doesn't have the patience to just get it over with. Like, I'm feeding him more often than I did when he was born. Anyone know what I can do to make him eat a full meal and to make us both comfortable while doing it? Is there a better position than the ones I've tried (craddle, cross-craddle, football, lying down)?
