6wk Post Partum Jitters

Hey Ladies, I need some SERIOUS input here....
my 6wk post partum check up is Thursday and assumingly will be the day I get the green light to resume the bedroom fum with hubby. He's VERY EXCITED about this day but I'm utterly terrified.
My body is still very doughy from baby and I have no idea how things will feel "down there" after teh horrendous amount of stitches I rec'd from my 3rd degree massive tear. Plus my boobs could leak and just in general I'm not feeling really sexy. I know I need to get past this but any advice/input/encouragement would be helpful!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Then I gave it a 2 day rest... tried again.. it was a little better... waited a few days.. tried again..
Well it's been the same story and now I am 11 weeks, it doesn't hurt anymore and I don't have to use lube... but now after I feel like I got kicked in the crotch. It's getting better every time but I still don't feel very sexy!!
Good luck!!!
And another thing that helped me, was taking it slow -as in, as he went in a little deeper, we would stop, once I was ok with it (the pressure, making sure it wasn;t hurting etc) then he would go i a little further. Seemed to work great! Didn't have any problems...
First time though we were together 3times over a few hours - I strongly suggest NOT doing that or you will be very sore the following day... Just the once and see how you go, give it a days break and soon you should be just fine like usual!
It did feel a little different to me. My husband says there is no difference to him. It almost felt slightly numb (sounds stange I know!) like it should be feeling a little more sensation... If that happens, don't worry. The feeling comes back to normal over the next few weeks!! :) Enjoy.... at your own pace!! x
