Wow!! You will have your hands full but that is great news :):) I was watching a programme the other day about a lady who was trying to get pg for 13 years, in the end she used a surrogate, and guess what, when her child was a year old or so-- she became pg! After she gave birth, she went on to have 2 more babies! Some people say when you finally have a baby after struggling with infertility, your body relaxes and somehow conceives much easier. Congratulations on your pregnancy, it will be great for your baby to have a sibling so close in age, I bet they will get along so well :)

You'll do just fine. I ttc for over three years with my DS and when he was 9mos old I discovered that I was pregnant again too. Make it through the first trimester and you'll be just fine! LOL!!

YAY you are so blessed!!!! Okay, take a deep breath....and another....you can do this! I have a 27 month old and a 3 month old....it is a matter of juggling but it can be done. I try to stagger out naps so when the 3 month old is alseep it's my "special time" with my toddler. Right now, my 3 month old monopolizes alot of time, I do take my toddler once a week (just him and I) to story hour at the library. He totally adores his baby sister but will get jealous, when those times come, I break out play-doh or finger paints...because these are the things only "big" kids can do. You are going to pull it off. I will tell you it is awesome, incredible, tiring as all hell BUT it's a hell of a lot of fun!!!!! Congrats! Just relax and try to enjoy it because soon enough you will have 2 teenagers who are going to think you are lame...LOL trust me...I have 2 of them as well! HUGS

awwwww...I can relate! I was in your shoes many years ago! I honestly thought I could not conceive when at age 24 I was pregnant! I was happy and before he was even 6mos I was pregnant again! They are 16mos part and now ages 4 and 5! LOL

When you first find out its overwhelming! I spent my entire pregnancy stressed insisting I was taking my sons babyhood away! In the end I don't regret a thing! They are best pals and my son doesn't even remember being alone. he had no jealousy issues and has always had a playmate! Don't get me wrong we had some bad days cause his little sister was colicky and I was in school so we had our moments but it gets easier. I always say I would of never planned it this way but am blessed it happened!

I now have a total of 3 kids and we are done. Our baby is 10mos!

congrats 1st of all! I have no idea what to tell you other than that once your new one is born, your older one will be young enough to learn that mom has to divide her attention between 2 kids. My son is 5 and my daughter is 3 weeks old- he is having a hard time not being the center of attention all the time.
