I'm a believer that you should let kids work out their differences, but sometimes I can't help but stick my nose in and sharply correct my son or his friends when they play.
like yesterday, my son (5) and wes (7) --- but they are the same exact size ---were playing "football" in the yard and being a little rough. I figure, OK, they are boys.
then I see Wes laying on top of my son and I hear my son sound like he's too squished to talk properly and Wes is banging the football near his head saying in a bully voice "do you hear me!" over and over.
I yelled "HEY! I don't like that."
I would have done the same if my son had been doing the pounding.
I just don't want my son to think that I'm always going to come to the rescue, b/c life doesn't work that way.
how do you all draw the line about when to interrupt or not?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
