I have made sure that my daughter who is 6, has had all her shots except the MMR and chicken pox. I just wondered what anyone else thought about these vaccines. I never got the MMR for her because of the fear of autism that was so common a few years ago. I understand that the preservtive has been changed, but still.... As for the chicken pox vaccine, all of her friends have had the shot and all of them have gotten chicken pox anyway. I think it would be better to just get it and be done with it. Luckily, she is in a private school and they are not all stressed out about the tardiness of her vaccines, but I know it will eventually be an issue.
